For a number of days I have not been able to access the files (Full Service Payroll). Earlier in the year done so with no problems. IT enviroment is unchanged on Windows 10 with Windows Defender setting unchanged as well.
Thanks for posting your question here. I'd be glad to lend a hand and provide info with this error message.
After reviewing the screenshots that you provided, I recommend checking to see if your company file is up to date.
Once you've ensured that your company file is up to date and you're still receiving the following message, you can use the Verify and Rebuild Data option. This feature is used for fatal errors, transactions missing, and more.
To verify data, here's how:
Choose Window and Close All.
Verify Data and then choose File.
Click on Utilities and select Verify data.
Note: Before running the Rebuild Data option, Assisted Payroll users should speak with an Assisted Payroll agent.
After consulting with an Assisted Payroll agent, let's go ahead and run the Rebuild Data feature.
Click on File and choose Utilities.
Select Rebuild Data.
You'll receive a warning message to backup your company file, press OK. The Rebuild Data requires a company file back.
Go to where you want to save your backup then pick OK at the bottom of the QB Desktop Backup window.
The Rebuild Data utility starts as soon as the backup is finished.
