Some of my employees cannot access their W2's on Workforce without knowing their Box1 amount. How do they know that without being able to access their W2???
As I've checked, we have an on-going issue where employees cannot access their W2s on the workforce. For now, you have to manually provide them the Box 1 amount to access their W2s.
To access the Box 1 amount, you can follow these steps:
Also, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. This way, you'll be added to the list of affected users and be updated through your email once an update is available.

Since some of your employees don't know their Box 1 amount, you need to manually provide it to them by logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account instead. Once logged in, you can do the same steps above to access the form.

I can share an update about the issue accessing W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce.
We received several reports from other users having the same experience in the ViewMyPaycheck website. Our Support Team already tagged this as an ongoing issue and are now working to implement a solution.
While they do, I'd recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks Online Payroll Care Support so you're added to our notification lists of affected users. There they can provide you additional workarounds to complete your work temporarily.

That should point you on the right track, jeannag. You can have our representatives add you to the investigation number INV-24325. Once added, you'll get live notifications when an update is available.
In the meantime, you can also directly request an emailed/printed copy of your W-2s from your payroll admin.
