Clock in, switch jobs or customers, and clock out via dial-in in QuickBooks Time

Notes:

  • You can only use this feature if your account administrator has set it up.
  • You will either dial in from your own phone number or if instructed by your administrator, an authorized phone number (you will be prompted to enter your Employee Number in this case).

To clock in:

  1. Dial your company's assigned 10-digit phone number.
  2. Follow the sign-in prompts.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow the prompts to add your job.

To switch jobs:

  1. Having clocked in on a previous call, dial your company's assigned 10-digit phone number.
  2. Follow the sign-in prompts.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow the prompts to select a new job.

To clock out:

  1. Dial your company's assigned 10-digit phone number.
  2. Follow the sign-in prompts.
  3. Press 2.
