Take and end a break in QuickBooks Time

Notes:

  • You will only see the Breaks feature if your account administrator has installed the add-on.
  • If your administrator has set up automatically inserted breaks, a break timesheet will be inserted upon clock out.

From a Computer or Mobile Device

  1. On Time Clock, choose Take Break, and select a break type.
  2. To end the break, select End Break. You will be automatically clocked back into the same job or customer.Note: Some breaks are set to be a required length by your administrator. In this case, you won't see the End Break button until it has reached the minimum required time.
