If the latest release does not resolve the issue, try the following:

  1. Remove any parentheses, brackets or apostrophes in the company file path or file name by renaming folders or file, then re-open the company file and run Advanced Reporting.
  2. Change the date to follow the standard format: MM/DD/YYY.
  3. Check and make sure that QVConnect32.exe is not being blocked by your anti-virus program. If it is, you will need to add an exception for the QlikView connector in the AVP's real-time scan.

    QVConnect32.exe file location:

    • Windows 10/8.1 and 8.0: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\QVConnect\11.20.12235.0
    • Windows 7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\\QVConnect\11.20.12235.0

    * 11.20.12235.0 changes depending on your version number

As the steps vary depending on the anti-virus program you use, please go to the anti-virus program support site for detailed instructions.

If you continue to get the error after following these steps, contact QuickBooks Support. We may need to upload and send your QuickBooks company file to our QBAR team for research.

Note: The last version of QuickBooks Advanced Reporting (QBAR) released for QuickBooks Enterprise 14 was 1.4.1. Versions 2.6.2 released for QuickBooks Enterprise 15, will not work with QuickBooks Enterprise 14. If you have both QuickBooks Enterprise 14 and 15 installed on the same computer, you will only be able to use QuickBooks Advanced Reporting with QuickBooks Enterprise 15.
