Can anyone connect QB online to Capitec Business in South Africa?

And if Yes, how? They don't offer cover or xls for upload.

Can anyone connect QB online to Capitec Business in South Africa?

I appreciate you posting to the Community, @ballie-thebear. When you encounter a bank connectivity issue, one possible cause is ongoing maintenance or a system issue on your financial institution's end. Let me share more details about this matter.

If it's the case, I recommend getting in touch with them directly. That way, they can provide updates, and you can get your bank transactions with the file available. Then, convert it to a CSV format. Here's an article for guidance to ensure your data is in the correct format: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Once you get your transactions, manually upload them to QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Choose the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then Upload from file.
  4. Select the Drag and drop or select files to upload the saved file of your transactions.
  5. In the Select account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into and click Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns in the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select Yes and Done.

Additionally, you can refer to this article for details: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

You can always reach back out if you have other questions or concerns besides linking your online banking. I'm happy to lend a helping hand.
