We appreciate your effort in performing some fixes to connect your ABSA bank, Robbie. I'm here to provide additional resolution to help you.
To start, Error 101 indicates an issue connecting to your bank, often because the bank account is inactive (no transactions in 12+ months), you're trying to add an account for which you haven't accepted new terms and conditions, or there's a temporary problem with the bank's server.
Since you have already completed the suggested troubleshooting steps to connect your bank, we recommend contacting your financial institution directly to check for any ongoing maintenance that may be causing the issue.
If it is confirmed that there are no ongoing updates on the bank's end and the issue persists, we recommend contacting our phone support team. They have the necessary tools to look up your account and can provide further resolution to help you connect our account in QBO.
