
Review and update bank transactions in the app

Learn how to review and post bank transactions using the QuickBooks mobile app.
Update and post any changes to your bank transactions from your mobile device. This helps you save time while keeping your records accurate and up to date wherever you are. Here’s how.
- From the Menu ☰, select Banking.
Note: On the iPad, if you have multiple accounts, select the dropdown ▼ to see your list of bank accounts, then you can select the one you want. - Select New Transactions.
- Select Recognised to review transactions QuickBooks Online has already recognised, categorised, and matched for you.
- If the transaction is correctly categorised and matched, swipe right to accept it. If the transaction is incorrectly categorised and matched, select the transaction and make the necessary changes.
- Select Accept.
- Select All to see any remaining, uncategorised transactions.
- Select the transaction, then review and add categories as necessary.
- Select Accept.
Review transactions that are ready to post from the Intuit Assist suggestions.
- From your mobile landing page, tap Transactions.
- Tap the Intuit Assist that says ready to post. You’ll see all transactions that aren’t posted yet.
- Select the transaction and review the details.
Note: To make changes to a transaction, select the checkbox for the transaction and tap Modify. - Once you’ve checked the transaction details, select the checkbox of the transactions you have reviewed and tap Post.
- Tap Done.
