How do i restore a deleted invoice?

Hello there, @greg-activedoors.


Welcome to the QuickBooks family. Let me share some clarification about the deleted invoice in QuickBooks Online.

 

Currently, an option or ability to restore deleted transactions is unavailable. However, you can use the Audit log feature to recover the details and recreate the invoice manually. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top and pick Audit Log under Tools.
  2. This will open the Audit Log page.
  3. From there, click the Filter drop-down to select the appropriate UserDate, and Events.
  4. Once done, hit the Apply button.
  5. From the list, find the deleted transactions.
  6. Once you see them, press the View link under the HISTORY column.
  7. On the Audit History page, click the Invoice No. link to view the complete details of the transaction. 
  8. Take note of the information and perform the same process for each deleted invoice.
