How would i post rental income

I understand the importance of recording rental payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO), lyn. I'm here to share insights on how to record this. 

 

When receiving rental income from your small business, you can record it by creating a sales receipt. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to + New, then choose Sales Receipt.
  2. From the Customer dropdown, select a customer.
  3. From the Select a product/service ▼ dropdown, click the product or service that you sold.
  4. Fill out the other necessary fields in the sales receipt, then select Save.
