i need to update terms and conditions

Welcome to the Community, siphokazi. Let me provide insights and details to update the terms and conditions on your quotations.

Although QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't support updating all saved quotations simultaneously, we can individually edit each quotation to modify the terms and conditions. This ensures that you can maintain accurate and current details in your business communications.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Sales tab, and choose the Quotes section.
  2. Select the preferred customer in the Customer tab.
  3. Fill out all needed information and update the terms and conditions in the Message displayed on the quote.
  4. Click Save and send after the update.

Additionally, if you need to customize the terms and conditions in your quotation template, please note that changes won’t affect quotations that have already been saved or sent. However, all future quotations will use the updated template. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Gear icon and click the Custom form styles.
  2. Click the Content tab between the Design and Emails.
  3. Select the pencil icon in the Footer to make an edit.
  4. If you typically send terms and conditions in the Message to Customer section of your quotations, you can update it here.
  5. Alternatively, if you use the Add Footer Text for your terms and conditions on quotations, feel free to make necessary edits in this area.
  6. Once all modifications are complete, click Done to save your changes.

After finalizing the quote, you can convert it to an invoice once the customer accepts the quoted terms, and all agreed tasks are completed. This process is essential for ensuring accurate payment and maintaining proper financial records.
