Is there a way to tag invoices or title them? I have multiple quotes and invoices for the same company and I hate having to open each one to find the right one.

I want to be able to see at a glance what the invoice is for. So for example, if we've quoted for multiple webinars, I want to be able to see a topic of the webinar as a title of the invoice without needing to open the invoice itself.

Good day, contact-supporte.

For now, tagging an invoice is only offered in the US version of QBO. You'll want to use the Class Tracking feature. This would allow you to add a classification in the transactions in QBO. It's usually used to track your transactions by departments, product lines, or any other meaningful segments in your business.

Let me help you activate this feature:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Proceed to the Advanced tab, then click Categories to edit it.
  3. Turn on Track classes. by sliding the status bar to the right.
  4. Check Warn me when a transaction isn't assigned a class. This is optional, but it's good to turn on, so when you look at reports, you know everything got classified.
  5. Under Assign classes, select One to entire transaction or One to each row in transaction.*
  6. Click Save, then select Done.

Once done, you can now assign transactions a class.
