Is there any way to have only a customer's "Company Name" show up on an invoice in the "Invoice To" area?

The invoice to area always shows First Name Last Name and either the Company Name or the Display Name. Very frustrating, as I only want the Company name to show.

Is there any way to have only a customer's "Company Name" show up on an invoice in the "Invoice To" area?

I appreciate you reaching out, thesalesmaker2021. At the moment, both the Display name and Company name are automatically shown by default when previewing invoices in QuickBooks Online.

 

I understand how having this feature to customise what appears on the invoice could help streamline your workflow, and we value suggestions that enhance your experience. To share feedback with our product team, here's what you can do:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Choose the Product Suggestion, and a pop-up window will appear. 
  3. Enter your feedback about the invoice display into the space provided.
  4. Click Send Feedback.

 

While waiting for possible updates, there are two ways to only show the Company name on invoices:

 

  • Manually remove the displayed name on the Invoice page.
  • Update the Display name to match the Company name in the Customer information window.
