There's a way for us to add the Business registration number so you can successfully tick the box when modifying your current invoices template.

To do this, we'll use a temporary invoice to update your company info (you won't need to save it):

  1. Go to + Create > Invoice.
  2. Under Manage, select Design and choose the Modern template.
  3. Click Edit company in the invoice header, enter your business registration number, and hit Save.
  4. Go to Customisation and toggle on the Business (CIPC) registration number.
  5. Click the X in the top right to close the invoice.

Now, go to the Gear icon > Custom form styles, find the invoice template you actually want to use, and click Edit. You should now be able to successfully check the Business registration Number box, and it will save properly.
