Our terms of Trade is COD, How do I change the terms on the invoice template to COD from 30 days net

We're delighted to have you here in the Community space today.

We recognize how having the option to set COD for your Terms inside the invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO) can create an advantage for your business. However, the feature you're trying to access is unavailable. Although you can add a new term and have it named COD, you'll still need to select or enter a specific number of days your customers will pay their invoices. We can write down the steps to get you going:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, click the +New button.
  3. Select Invoice.
  4. Go to the Terms section, click the Dropdown arrow and select Add New.
  5. Enter the name of the term template, and then choose what Due you want to set it.
  6. Once done, click the Save button.

In case you want to have the option to set COD for the Terms, we'll gladly help you send a feature recommendation to our Product Development Team. This way, they can evaluate it and consider adding it for future product updates. These are the steps:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Feedback and then enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Once ready, click Next to submit feedback.

Furthermore, here are some articles to help you manage invoice payments, create a custom sales form template, and ensure your data stays accurate inside QBO:
