You can customise your invoice template to show the tax number. This will give you tools to personalise and add specific info to sales forms.
Here's how:
- Tap the Gear icon, then Custom form styles.
- Press New and select Invoice from the drop-down menu. For existing templates, click Edit beside the template.
- Go to the Content tab.
- Click the Header section on the invoice.
- Select Customer VAT number box.
- Press Done once finished.

If it's already set up and the tax number is still not showing, you can log in to your account using a private window. Unexpected issues in QuickBooks are sometimes affected by the amount of data stored in the cache.
The private window will not save any history, so it's a great place to identify issues in the browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If it works, clear the browser's cache. This removes the history or logs files so you can start with a clean slate. I also recommend switching to a different browser.
