Double debiting by QuickBooks

QuickBooks debits my account twice every month. When I first signed up, I accidentally signed up on the US portal. I then cancelled that account and opened up one on the SA portal. Now I am still being debited by QuickBooks for the US account and there's no way of contacting them or logging into the account because it has been deleted. Please help, as QuickBooks offers no assistance?

I'll provide information and route you to the right support since this involves accounts for two different countries.

 

The US and the South Africa QuickBooks subscriptions have different prices. If the charge is the same price as your QuickBooks subscription in ZA, it could be you have a duplicate account. I suggest contacting the ZA Support Team to help verify the charges. Then, they can also confirm if you're qualified for a refund. Please note that for South Africa users, the best way to reach out to our support is to email them.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click on Help at the top menu bar.
  2. Hit on the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter a brief description of your issue about the charges in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Press on Let's talk.
  5. Choose on Start an email.
  6. You'll be routed in the Check your info and tell us how we can help page. Then, enter your details.
  7. Hit the Send email button.

 

However, if you noticed that the charge is reverse or higher from your ZA account, I recommend contacting our US QuickBooks support Team. They can investigate why you're still being charged. As you verified that the US account has been deleted, I advise using this US test drive account so you're able to get in touch with our support team: https://c23.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage

 

Then, follow the steps below on how to contact them:

 

1. Open your QuickBooks Account.

2. At the top right, click the Help icon.

3. Click Contact Us.

4. Under What can we help you with?, enter your concern about charges.

5. Click Let's Talk.

6. You'll be routed into the Choose a way to connect with us page.

 

  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

 

7. Select how you want to contact them and fill in the information.
