I can help you activate the Payments tab from the Account and Settings in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
In QBO, the Payments tab will only activate if you've signed up for QuickBooks Payments and it's connected to your QuickBooks account. However, QuickBooks Payments is only available in the US region.
You can utilize a third-party application that can help you activate and manage payments from your clients since you're using the QBO South Africa region. You can search for applications through the Apps menu of your QBO, then click the Find Apps tab. You can also look here in our QuickBooks Online App Store or outside QuickBooks.
