It's sad to see you go, @ezmari. However, it's my priority to ensure you'll be able to keep a handy copy of your data once you're ready to cancel your subscription.

Once you close your account, you'll still have a view and read-only access to your records that last for a year, after that time given you can no longer access your account, and all the data will be permanently deleted. Thus, you can download your reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online. That way, you'll be able to save them to your local hard drive.

If you're ready to cancel your subscription and you purchase it directly from Intuit, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Open a web browser and sign in to QuickBooks Online as the primary or company admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  3. Select the Billing & subscription.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, click Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  5. Then follow the onscreen steps.

However, if you purchase your account through a mobile app store, you can check out this article for the steps: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.

If you'd like to proceed with exporting your data, you can refer to the following article for the detailed steps:

Feel free to post a reply if you need more help with managing QuickBooks data. I'll be around. Have a good one!
