Need help with bank connections . Clients log in with same credentials at the bank but via Quickbooks its not working

Hello there, @rafeeqerasmus

 

Welcome to the Community. I'm here to help you connect your bank with QuickBooks successfully. 

 

Some banks have multiple names on our list this is why you're unable to connect even you're using the same credentials. This time, let's use the bank URL in the search field to ensure we select the correct listing. Here's how: 

 

  1. Log in to your bank's website.
  2. Copy the URL link. ex: https://www.chase.com/
  3. Make sure to log out of the FI's website and continue to add the account in QuickBooks Online.

 

Then, pate the financial login URL in QuickBooks. Here's how: 

 

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Choose Banking on the left menu.
  3. On the Banking page, click Add Account.
  4. Enter and paste the copied URL for your financial institution in the Search bar. 
  5. Select your bank on the list, then connect.

 

After you connect successfully, follow the steps to match and categorize the bank transactions to make sure they're added to QuickBooks.
