Attention to detail & listening to your customer

Dear QuickBooks Support

 

I'm writing this in the Community Forum to see if you actually listen to what your customers are feeling.

 

After over a month of QBO users complaining about not being able to connect to Standard Bank, not much support has been offered, other than "you can still do it manually". Great. Thanks a lot. We really want that as the option (NOT!).

 

I received the emailer below.
Notice that the "Community Community" is in the subject twice.
Notice a string for something isn't working.

Here is what I think.
QuickBooks is battling with attention to detail and bug fixes.
This should be the first priority for a SAAService. 
Bolster your dev, UX and UI departments. 
Start to "fine" the team for not having attention to detail, and not fixing issues quickly.
Get it right.

I appreciate you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us on the issues. We're always keen on customers who want to improve our services. 

 

Regarding the issue on the Standard Bank, our engineers are aware of the problem and are now working for a fix to ensure you're able to connect it with QuickBooks Online. 

 

If you haven't already done it yet, I'd recommend contacting our support. That way, you'll be added to the list of affected users, and you'll be notified through email after a fix has been deployed. 

 

Here's how to contact them in case you need help with the steps: 

 

  1. Click the Help menu.
  2. In the chat box, type "contact support", then click the Contact Support Team.
  3. When asked, type "Standard Bank issue follow-up" or something similar.
  4. Click the No, I still need help option.
  5. Choose the Contact Support Team link. 
  6. Click the Chat button to reach out to one of our agents. 

 

The manual method is still open as an option if you need to take care of your bank transactions as soon as possible. 

 

Regarding the bugs and issues you've mentioned, I'd recommend sending feedback to our developers about this. They'll be able to read your concerns directly and work on improvements and fixes. Click the Gear icon, then select Feedback
