If you find duplicate items that are not in use, it is advisable to make them inactive. To do so, follow the steps below:
1. Log into your QBO account.
2. Go to Sales, then choose Products and Services.
3. Look for the product or service that you want to make inactive.
4. From the Action column, click the drop-down menu and select Make inactive.
5. Click Yes.
