i need to get quickbooks 2014 are anything to get quickbooks back on my computer
You're unable to open your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) when installing it to your new computer since you're using an outdated version, John. I'll provide an explanation below.
Version 2014 has already been phased out and can't be registered when installed on other computers. Also, the said version is only compatible with Windows 7 & 8 and Windows Vista. Reactivating retired versions requires an activation code, but this practice has been discontinued for quite some time now.
If you wish to continue using QuickBooks, you have the option to start with a free trial or you can consider upgrading to a supported version through our website: Subscribe to QuickBooks Desktop.
Once you have the latest version, you will need to upgrade your company file so it works in newer versions of QBDT. Before doing so, it's important to back up your company file to protect your data.
Please note that the articles given above are specifically for the United States region, but the steps and guidelines should apply to your region as well.

You can use the trial version as a workaround.
