when creating a new quickbooks online account what company information does quickbooks ask for
Hi there, Tiffany. When creating a new QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, the system will ask for some basic information about your company. One important detail is the company name, which will appear on your invoices, reports, and any communications sent through QuickBooks.
You'll then provide business details, such as your email address, phone number, and physical mailing address, for contact purposes.
We'll also request the legal information, which contains the details your business uses for tax purposes. This covers the business type and structure, as well as the industry in which your business operates.
Additionally, include the customer's contact information to ensure clients can reach your business.
For more information, check out this article: Get started with QuickBooks.
Once your account is set up, you can go to the Account and settings to enable product features, such as the billable expenses and others.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reply. I'll get back to you.
