All instructions on Journal Entries refer to a Company Tab I do not have a Company Tab I want to do Supplier Journals to raise Purchases

Hello, EliseB. 

 

Welcome to the Community. Allow me to guide you on how to locate the Company tab and create a journal entry. It's super easy. Here's how:  

 

  1. Click the Gear icon. 
  2. Select Account and settings
  3. From there you can make any changes. 

 

Then, to create journal entry the steps below will show you how to do it. 

 

  1. Click the + New icon. 
  2. Under Other choose Journal Entry. 
  3. Enter all the information needed.
  4. Check the amounts make sure your debits equal your credits.
  5. Enter information in the memo section so you know why you made the journal entry.
  6. Press Save and close

Though, I still recommend consult an accountant to help you identify the affected accounts to make sure your book is accurate.
