I've set up our VAT, but it does not show on my invoices. I've tried to edit the product/service, but it also does not ask whether VAT is applicable or not

Hello there, Cindy. Let's work this out so you can add VAT to your invoices inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).


Please know that temporary internet data accumulated by the browser can affect your experience when utilizing the program. We recommend performing basic troubleshooting to free the browser from it.
Access your company in an incognito or private browser through these shortcut keys:
 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

Once you're in, create an invoice and add the VAT rate you created earlier. If you can see and add the VAT rate to the transaction, proceed to clear your browser's cache. See this article for further guidelines: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
