Thank you for sharing. There is hope again. If In-Tune can do it, any push-deploy should be able to to it. Like PDQ Deploy or RMM products. Curious how In-Tune handles necessary reboots. An option to restart or not restart after installation would seem to be needed. Reboot before and after, even if not need would take care of that.
The major disruption could be avoided by receiving an email with the pending release date of major updates, or any update that requires a reboot. We could actually schedule it in advance. I will keep dreaming and ranting, maybe I can get notifications on a reliable schedule.

Hello there @Rickkee. We're sorry if the forced update has disrupted your business productivity. You can manually turn it off by following these steps:
- Go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Choose the Options tab.
- Select the No radio button for Automatic Update.
- Select Close when done.

If you'd like to update QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) manually in the future, check out the Method 2 section in this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
Should you have any other concerns, feel free to leave a message in this thread.
