Is there a way to create a custom report to export in excel format that lists customer name, street address, city, state, zip code and taxable amount in separate cells?

We're unable to customize a report to lists the street address, city, state, and zip code in separate cells.


However, you have the option to manually edit the table once you've exported the report to Excel.To customize a report and export to Excel:


  1. From the left menu, select Reports.
  2. Search for Customer Contact List.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. Change the settings in the Customize Report window.
  5. Click Run Report to save the changes.
  6. Once done, click the Export icon, then select Export to Excel.

We've just gone live with Flex Financial Reporting; it allows you to extract almost any data from your QuickBooks Online companies and create your own customized reports. You may be able to piece this report together using our addon.
