There are two ways to run those five companies under a single login credential. I'm happy to share them with you. 


QuickBooks Online Accountant works by adding clients to your practice. Not only that, you're also given accountant-only tools to manage your companies. Find out more about it here


There are two ways to help you run those companies easily with one login. The first method is to use your QuickBooks Online Accountant account, and invite yourself as an accountant in those companies. Here's how: 


  1. Log in to one of your companies. 
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select Manage users
  3. Go to the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Enter your email address associated to your QuickBooks Online Accountant account.
  5. Click the Invite button.





Do this to the rest of your companies. When you're done, log in to your QuickBooks Online Accountant account. In the overview page, you can access the companies by clicking the Go to QuickBooks button. 




Another way to access those company files easily is to add yourself as a company admin using a dedicated login information (no need to use the Accountant version). In the Manage users page, click the Add user button. Select Company admin, then hit Next. Finally, enter the email address for the dedicated login credentials. 




Do this until you've invited yourself to all of your companies. You can easily switch between account by clicking the Gear icon, then selecting Switch company





Note: You can only open one company at a time but this allows you to use a single login credential.
