Your QuickBooks Desktop 2014 will still be useful. However, when resetting your password you’ll need to be aligned with the system requirements that can be found in this link: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1638545.
This is to ensure that the tools are compatible with the file that you're currently working on.

- In your browser, navigate to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
