I'm trying to edit the upcoming payroll details to include a Christmas bonus for my employees but when I select "Edit payroll details' no field is editable.

Hi there, @stephane8. Welcome to the Community.

 

You can add Christmas bonuses directly through each employee's profile. Let me show you how to do this.

 

Note: if you have Auto-payroll enabled, you need to temporarily pause it for this period, as that feature is designed to manage everything automatically.

 

 

Here's how to add the bonus:

 

  1. Go to Payroll and select Employees.
  2. Click on the name of the employee you want to edit.
  3. In the Pay types section, select Edit (or Start).
  4. Scroll down to the Common pay types section and check the box for Bonus.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Repeat for each employee receiving a bonus.

 

Now, when you go back to Run Payroll, the Bonus column should be visible and editable.
