Allow me to share some steps on how to change your incorrect tax rate in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
When you use the automated sales tax feature, QuickBooks automatically generates the tax agencies and sales tax rates you need. Here's you can edit them:
- Go to Taxes, then select Sales Tax.
- Select Tax Settings.
- From the Custom Rate section, find the sales tax rate you want to edit.
- Select Edit, then update the rate accordingly.
- Select Continue, then select Edit.
Moreover, I'm adding this helpful article on how you record, adjust, and delete sales tax payments in the tax center: Manage sales tax payments in QuickBooks Online.
Come back to this post if you have other concerns and follow-up questions about editing your tax rate in QBO. I'll be here to lend a helping hand. Have a good one!
