Employees and payroll
I appreciate you sharing your situation, Sparker. Allow me to route you to our dedicated support team for a more effective resolution.
While QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't have a built-in feature for creating liability adjustments for payroll amounts processed outside the platform, Our dedicated support team can assist you with this payroll correction.
They have the tools and expertise to address the payroll corrections needed for your W-2s.
To proceed, here's how
- Access the Help menu at the upper right corner of your QBO dashboard.
- Type Contact Support in the search tab and press enter.
- Select Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
- In the Ask about something else section, enter the issue.
- Hit on Continue and choose a way to connect with us.
Please note that our customer service hours for QBO Payroll Core are from 6 AM to 6 PM PT on weekdays. On the other hand, QBO Payroll Premium and Elite support are available 24/7.
Furthermore, I'll share these helpful resources to simplify your payroll process, allowing for automatic calculation, payment, and filing of payroll taxes:
- Set up and manage your Auto Payroll
- Set up QBO Payroll to pay and file your payroll taxes and forms
- View your previously filed tax forms and payments
Consider this thread a reliable resource for any payroll questions in QBO. My team and I are here to provide you with personalized guidance, helping you navigate your specific payroll needs with clarity and ease.

Employees and payroll
@Aldren18 They don't need to correct paychecks.
They need to add missing ones to one side or the other.
