I knew a few steps to resolve the error you're getting. I'm happy to help share them with you and ensure you'll not be getting this error again.

 

First, you can try sending payroll data to fix the error, before performing the steps, please ensure to download and install the QuickBooks Desktop latest release.

 

To send payroll data depending on your payroll service:

 

  1. Click on Employees at the top menu bar.
  2. Select My Payroll Service, and then Send Usage Data or click on Send Usage Data directly.

If it works successfully, try to update your payroll again. If the send is not successful, I'd suggest getting back to our Payroll Support Team to check and investigate this further.
