it will not let [PII name removed] enter his ss#

cant put in ss# when entering info to edit personal info andrew has tried he has given us info to and we cant from office

Your question is important to us, and I want to ensure I fully understand it so that I can provide the best support possible. When you click on the Social Security Number field, what happens exactly? For example, is the field grayed out, does it not let you type anything, or does it show an error message when you try to save?

 

Does the employee enter their SSN via the Workforce self-service portal, or are you trying to enter it in QuickBooks Online Payroll? Is this the first time you are trying to enter your Social Security Number for the employee, or are they a rehired employee?
