Learn how to fix a report that doesn't export to Excel 2013 correctly.
Are you having trouble with a report you exported to excel? When you export a report from QuickBooks Online Accountant to Excel 2013, the data can either be blank or showing as "0." The best way to fix this problem is to make sure Macros are enabled.
Enable macros by following these steps.
- In Excel 2013, select File, choose Options, select Trust Centre, then choose Trust Centre Settings, then select Macros Settings.
- Select Disable all macros except digitally signed macros.
- Select Ok.
- Re-export your report from QuickBooks Online Accountant to Excel.
You may still get a notification about Macros when exporting; if so, accept the Macros.
