I also tried your suggestion because I'm having the same problem. I can see that it created a new qbprint.qbp file, but I still can't print and my printer setup still doesn't show up.
I should mention that everything was fine until Windows 10 updated the other day. I have checked for updated drivers and done everything in the QB Tool Hub.
I'm using QB Desktop Pro 2017. Do you have any other ideas I could try?
