Quickbooks Desktop Premier 2020

Issue:  Multi-user connection to server and windows 10 defender

We just upgraded to Quick books Desktop Premier 2020 with 3 users. All three worked at time of installation. Next time in office, users/workstations can not connect to the "server" computer. Spent hours on the phone with our newly purchased support plan, "level 2".  We discovered the server's Windows 10 Firewall Defender is not allowing the connections. So once turned off, the two workstations can connect to the server. I tried to add incoming rules to Defender to permit all the dot executable files I could find under QB 2020, but will not work.  So in order to have multiple users work, which we paid for, defender must be off. Anyone else have these issues?
