I've got the information that you need on how you can acquire two user IDs in QuickBooks Online.
In QuickBooks Online, you can have one user ID per account. That said, if you want to have two user IDs, you'll need to subscribe to another QBO account.
To get a new QBO subscription, you may select your country in the link attached: QuickBooks Online International. From there, just follow the instructions to sign up for an account and enter your desired user ID.
On the other hand, one user ID can access multiple companies. You'll need to be added as a user to do this. Know that only the admin has the option to add a user in QBO.
Here's how you can be added as a user:
- Click on the Gear icon at the top, then Manage Users. If you can’t select this, you don’t have permission to manage other users. Contact an admin user for help.
- Press on Add user.
- Select the user type you want to create. More options will appear on the screen depending on the user type you select.
- Enter your new user’s name and email address, then select Save.
