QuickBooks Online has the Customer Type option to group customers into different segments. However, the feature is currently unavailable to the global version.
You'll want to use the class feature to separate your customer transactions.
To enable the Class Tracking feature, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the Gear > Account and Settings.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In the Categories section, and put a check mark on the Track Classes box.
- Select Save and then Done.
