Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I understand how you feel about your experience with one of our support team, ronan. I'll ensure to take this note to help improve your experience. Let me share some steps on how you can manually upload your bank transactions in QuickBooks.
When you encounter missing transactions in QuickBooks, we can perform manual updates to refresh your bank feed and download your recent bank transactions automatically.
Since the missing transactions were five (5) months old, we can manually upload them in QuickBooks through a CSV format. To proceed, you can follow the steps below:
- Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
- Choose the blue tile where you want to download the transactions.
- Click the Link account dropdown, then Upload from file.
- Select Drag and drop or select files, and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, click Continue.
- In the QuickBooks Account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, and click Continue.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns in the file. Then, hit Continue.
- Select the transactions you want to download, then select Continue.
- Hit Yes and Done.

You can check out this article for additional details: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
After downloading your bank transactions, you can proceed to categorise your bank transactions to ensure that your bank transactions are accurate.
