Importing from Sage 50 backup to Quickbooks desktop

I am pretty desperate. We were using Sage 50 until we could close off our fiscal year and change to QB. But the sage 50 crashed on us and now we only have the usb backup. I need to import that to QB but understand that I can only do it with IIF files?? I really need help with the process. I really don't have a clue.

Welcome to QuickBooks Community!  I can understand the concern with moving your data to QuickBooks Online and the need to get back to business as soon as possible.  I'm glad to hear that you were able to maintain a backup of your Sage 50 files.  Intuit doesn't offer technical support for creating or importing IIF files.  For additional assistance, I suggest reaching out to an accounting professional.  If you don't have one, we can help you locate a ProAdvisor in your local area.

You can purchase a 3rd party service to convert your data file from Sage to QB Desktop.
