Which QB Desktop year version did you use?

We do currently take company backup the same way as mentioned in the article. 

However, the business users wants to export "All" the data from Quickbooks and save it for later use and discontinue the license as we no longer use the QuickBooks application.

You can purchase a new one time (outright) license for QB Desktop 2020 Pro or 2021 Pro. Then purchase a 3rd party service to downgrade your company file to open on QB Desktop Pro anytime you need. Otherwise, you can use the trial version for QB Desktop Enterprise to open your file for 30 days.

Is there no other way to export all the data in csv or excel?

Hi there. You'll have to utilize a third-party app in order to export all the data as CSV or Excel at once. You can search for these apps on our app store desktop.apps.com. Feel free to ask other questions.
