Being able to sync your bank account with your QuickBooks Online account is a great way to save time and have your account match your bank transactions. I can help go over how to get your bank synced.
If you run into an error when trying to sync or update your bank information into QuickBooks Online we have some steps to try to get this resolved. I suggest going through the steps in this article first to try and find where the error is. If you followed those steps and still cant update you can unsync your bank account from your account and try syncing it again. In order to disconnect your bank account you'll need to follow these steps:
- Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
- Select the blue tile for your bank account.
- Select the pencil ✎ icon to edit the account, then select Edit account info.
- Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
- Select Save and close.
Once disconnected you can sync it again by following the steps here. When looking for your bank try using the banks website link instead of searching the name as this can also sometimes cause errors.
