Yes, you can, matobovet.

The QuickBooks Online backup is our own servers which have high levels of security. More details of our security can be found here.

It is not possible to do a back up yourself in the QuickBooks Online product you may be able to find a 3rd party application to do that. If we want to save a copy of our information directly saved in our computer, we can export reports and lists. Refer to these articles for more details: Export Data out of QuickBooks Online.

Ransomware issues are only relevant if you are using QuickBooks Desktop version. If you are using QuickBooks Online or QBSE, you have to be aware of phishing attempts. Make sure you have installed and update a reliable endpoint security on your machine to minimize the risk.
