Quickbooks Online Enterprise?
Dear All,
Greetings!
I just would like to ask, I am used to Quickbooks Enterprise US and we are using the desktop version as of now. However since we have recently acquired a UK based small company. I would like to ask if there is a UK Version of Online Quickbooks Enterprise?
I am only seeing an international version. Hope someone can confirm.
Thank you.

Hi there, @Ecoboy101.
Thanks for visiting the Community. I appreciate your interest in using the UK version of QuickBooks.
At the moment, we only offer the Simple Start, Essentials, and the Plus version of QuickBooks Online UK. Should you consider one of these plans, visit our plans and pricing including the comparison chart so you can choose what suits best for your small business: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/#price.
Also, the international version of QuickBooks Enterprise is only available for desktop.

Afaik, company doesn't offer QBES UK version any longer. You should try Pro or Premier.
You may deploy a private cloud solution to access the data file by internet connection.
Second option, consider QBO Plus UK version

Hello @Fiat Lux - ASIA ,
Thank you for taking time to reply. Now, does Pro and Premier has the same function of the Enterprise that US version has?
I think the only hurdle I am facing now is opening the US version QBA file to the UK version desktop.
Also, is there a UK platform for this? I am already subscribed to UK Essential Plus and I think this is the highest version that they offer which does not meet the requirements I have.
Thank you.

Other Questions
What kind of requirement do you need? You may have some options:
1. Keep using QB Desktop US version Enterprise edition.
2. Migrate to QB Desktop UK version Premier edition. You have to purchase a 3rd party service to convert data file from US to UK version.
3. Migrate to QB Online UK version. You may consider purchasing the 3rd party conversion service to get a QBW file, open the converted file on trial license, then self migrate to QB Online UK version.
As additional option, should you need more than 5 users working on QBD Premier of QBO Plus, consider having a 3rd party app as workaround. i.e a CRM app for your sales team, or an inventory management app for your warehouse team.

Thank you.
The reason for the main move to UK version is since the company annexed and absorbed a company based in the UK - vat payments and MTD services that Quickbooks UK has.
Thus I signed in for the Quickbooks UK Online Plus (which is the highest online service they offer but a few things lacking here and there - esp inventory module)
Now, I just downloaded the UK Premiere Accountant Edition and it seems I cannot open the US Enterprise file I have. You were mentioning about a third party software that can convert them?
The company we are using the Enterprise for is non-tax bounded thus we prefer to use only 1 platform and create 2 company files rather than shift from 1 platform to the other.

Hello there, @Ecoboy101!
While waiting for the response for the app shared by one of our members, @Fiat Lux - ASIA, you can consider converting your data from the US desktop version to QuickBooks Online US version. Then, use the same login credentials you have for the UK version you used to access them at the same time.
To begin with, here are reminders you can read before the conversion: Before You Start - The QuickBooks Guide to Converting QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
- Go to File.
- Select Utilities.
- Click Copy Company File for QuickBooks Online.
- Under Choose online company▼, choose the company you wanted to replace.
- Select Continue.
- Enter Agree in the Text field.
- Click Replace.
In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about the conversion: The Conversion Process - The QuickBooks Guide to Converting QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Lastly, I've got you these helpful articles for ideas about what you need to do after the conversion:
- What to do after converting from QuickBooks Desktop for Windows or Mac to QuickBooks Online?
- What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online?
If you have any other questions, you can always leave them in the comments. I'll be here to lend a helping hand.

Are you using QB Desktop Enterprise UK version? Is it an outdated one?
You may consider to downgrade to QB Desktop Premier UK version
then consider having a 3rd party inventory management app as the workaround to integrate with your new QBD.

Hi Chrisem78 Every version of QuickBooks desktop has a 14.5k item limit. Enterprise was designed for large companies and had a much larger limit value. The only thing you could do is create a new file from scratch pulling across only active customers/suppliers etc. If you still have too many items then obviously this wouldn't work.

If your company doesn't need to comply with MTD policy, you may consider converting data to QBD US Enterprise. Otherwise, we may recommend another option to explore. It offers the flexibility of the cloud, or the security of on-premise deployments. The pricing is consumption-based, so you can add additional users and features as your business grows without automatic bumps. The cost to you is based on the features and resources that you use, not the number of users who access the system. The price is determined by three factors:
- What applications do you want to use?
- What type of license are you considering: SaaS Subscription, Private Cloud Subscription, or Private Perpetual License?
- What is your projected level of consumption based on the volume of your business transactions and data storage?
Contact us in private for details.
