I'm glad you made it here, pierrel.
Let’s check to see if the browser in your computer has a full cache. This can often cause unusual behavior in the product. To start with, let's open QuickBooks in a private or incognito window.
Feel free to use the following keyboard shortcuts for your reference:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If you're able to see the Add lines option from your Purchase Order, you'll want to go back to the regular browser. Then, clear the cache to start fresh.
Please see screenshot below to see how it would look like:
Otherwise, I recommend using other supported browser to better isolate this behavior.
Be sure to get back to me if you have other questions. I want to make sure everything's taken care of. Take care and have a good one.

Other Questions
Hi
Thank you for your quick feedback.
Sorry, I worded my query incorrectly :)
Shouldn't have used the term add lines.
Let me rather phrase it like this:
We have 5 approval levels.
The purchase order does show an approval line with a date as well.
Is there a way that I can add more of these (5 in total)?
Sorry about the miscommunication.

Other Questions
I appreciate you for adding clarifications to your concern, pierrel.
At this time, the option to add more than one Approved By lines on Purchase Order is unavailable in QBO.
I will consider this as a suggestion on how we can improve our purchase order customization feature. That said, I'll be forwarding this idea directly to our Product Development Team to be part of their future product enhancement deliberation.
In the meantime, I encourage you to check out our QuickBooks Blog for any enhancements and announcements about the QuickBooks Online product.
You know where to go if you have other QuickBooks questions. I've got your back. Wish you all the best!
