@Fiat Lux - ASIAOK, that worked, I was able to grab my license and product ID, and using the link in the post above I was able to download 2019. I am going to try another experiment. I know that 2022 is currently running on my laptop. Now I am going to install 2019 on there and see if both will still run. If 2019 does and 2022 does not then I think my original assumption might be right. If neither or both run I am still in uncharted territory.
In either case, I can at least put 2019 on the laptop and have it running as a backup and give it a try by stripping everything from the desktop and going from scratch.
My bookkeeper is coming on Tuesday so I may wait until after to try stripping the desktop clean so she can at least do her monthly stuff. I don't want to potentially mess everything up before she gets here or make her work on my laptop, which is much slower and more finicky.
