QuickBooks Utility Application not allowing thirdparty application to communicate with QB SDK
Hi,
I am stuck with this issue since couple of weeks now and unable to move forward. Our customer is on the latest QB version -
We have installed a third party application/agent where QuickBooks Desktop is installed, to fetch data from QB.
We have been able to sync the data smoothly for several weeks until recently when we started seeing 'QuickBooks Utility Application' popup as shown in the attached images.
When we click on 'Yes' - the popup is appearing again. When we click on 'No' - it is killing the third party Agent we installed. And we are not able to proceed further with our syncs.
As suggested in other blogs online, we have changed the user account control settings and choose Never Notify to turn off UAC and restarted the system. But still the issue didn't get resolved. This time the popup stopped coming, but we see something flash and go for a fraction of a second, following which the Agent is again getting stopped.
It is kinda mimicing the option 'No' when selected on the popup. The popup stopped appearing, but I believe the QB Utility Application is still running in the background and interfering with our communication to sdk.
We have removed our application from the Integrated applications page and regenerated the consent. We received the consent again, but when we are trying to pull the data, the Agent is getting killed again.
Can someone please help us on this issue as it is blocking us from fetching the data and the customer is not able to use our application as the data is not updated.
Thanks in advance.

In your screenshot, the problem appears while trying to run QB Desktop 2021. Check the permission settings on the server/host C Drive. Set or make "Everyone" to have "Full Control" and monitor the results.

Hello there, @sreenath-centime.
I found an earlier post linked to your profile about an app that is not communicating with QuickBooks. It seems my colleague already posted a response so I've included the link below for easy navigation.

Thanks @Fiat Lux - ASIA that was a good observation. The user indeed had 2 versions of QB installed QB21, and QB22, and user was only using QB22. So having them uninstall QB21 got rid of this issue. Thanks Again, appreciate the help.
