I'd like to share some in sights in importing payroll data into QuickBooks Desktop.

If you're trying to import payroll transactions directly from your third-party application to QuickBooks, you should consider entering it manually through journal entry. I suggest consulting an accountant to make sure your books are accurate

I also recommend contacting your third-party app support to help you further in importing payroll data into QuickBooks.

This was not a helpful answer.  I am also trying to upload payroll data from an outside resource into QB.  They are requesting the file format and formatting of the report so that it can be uploaded.  I would also need to know how to upload in to QB.

While preparing a file format for upload is unavailable, you can temporarily follow the suggested workaround or look for a supported third-party application.

Additionally, you can send a feature request directly to our product developers. This way, they can determine what enhancements and improvements are needed to make our product more effective and convenient for our users. 

Here's how:

1. Open your QBDT file.
2. Go to the Help menu, then click on Send Feedback Online.
3. Tap on Product Suggestion.
4. Enter your comments or requests.
5. Hit on Send Feedback to proceed.
